Add computer folders for monitoring

You can add monitored music, image, video folders, which will be observed for changes. If these files in the computer are deleted, added, or renamed, Gallery will be updated automatically. You will be notified of all the changes and updates.

To import files and define monitored folders, click Music > Import music, Photos > Import photos, or Videos > Import videos. Click Import button and follow the prompts. For more information, view the demo below.

You can define computer folders containing music, photos and videos to be observed for changes. Gallery displays the contents of these folders exactly as they are on the computer. If files in monitored folders are deleted, added or renamed, Gallery is updated automatically.

To add for instance a music folder, select Music > Import music from the Music menu in the top navigation bar. Similarly, you can use the menus to import photos and videos. In the pop-up window that opens, click Import, and then click the + button to browse for the folder you want to monitor.

When the small file browser opens, browse to the computer folder you want to monitor and click OK.

If you also want to monitor the contents of all the subfolders of the selected folder, select the Include Subfolders option. Then, click Apply.
