Manage files

Store all your multimedia content safely in the Gallery and use different functions to have it the way you like it. You can organise your files in an ascending or descending manner by name, date created.

In Filters and tags you can filter the content in the Content area by selecting the media types you want to view in Gallery filters. You can also view items according to the tags attached to them, attach tags to titles and create new tags.

In Gallery, you can see all your music, photos and videos imported from your computer or from your Nokia device to Nokia Ovi Suite.

To organise and sort your files for example by name or by the creation date, click the title of the desired column. The arrow next to the column name shows whether sorting was done in the ascending or descending order.

When you select a file in Gallery, you can view its details in the File preview panel on the left.

By selecting desired content types in the Filters and tags panel, you can decide which files you want to view in Gallery.

To classify files easily, tag them with keywords. Start by selecting a file in Gallery, and add a tag description for it in the File preview panel. The tag you added appears in the Filters and tags panel. You can then add the same tag for other files. Later, you can find all files classified by this keyword simply by clicking the tag in the Filters and tags panel.
