Nokia Ovi Suite

Requirements

In order to use Nokia Ovi Suite application, ensure that your computer configuration meets the minimum requirements, described below, and that you have a compatible Nokia device. The list of compatible Nokia devices is constantly updated, please check Nokia Ovi Suite web site support pages to see whether your device is compatible.

If your device is incompatible with Nokia Ovi Suite, you can still connect your device to the computer and access all your mobile photos, videos and files using Nokia PC Suite. Get Nokia PC Suite application from the Nokia PC Suite web site.

To install Nokia Ovi Suite, you need:

  • Administrator rights to the computer so you can install applications.
  • At least 500 MB of free disk space
  • Microsoft Windows Vista, or Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition) with Service Pack 2 or later. For Windows XP, the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or later.


To use Nokia Ovi Suite effectively, you need:

  • 1 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor
  • 512 MB of RAM memory
  • 32 MB of display memory or graphic card
  • 1 GB of free space for storing your photos, videos and music
  • 1024 x 768 resolution and 16-bit colour


To connect your device to a computer, you need at least one of the following connection sets:

  • Connection cable: either USB (DKU-2, DKE-2, CA-53, CA-70 or CA-101) or serial connection cable (CA-42)
  • Bluetooth wireless technology equipment on both your device and computer
  • Infrared technology and equipment on both your device and computer

To play DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy-protected music and transfer it onto your device, you need to have Windows Media Player 11Player 11 or later installed.
