Download new maps
Downloading maps to your device is easy with Nokia Ovi Suite.

  • Connect your device to your computer. Because you may be copying large amounts of data it’s faster to use a USB cable connection rather than Bluetooth. See Connect your device to your computer for more information.
  • Open Ovi Maps on your device.
  • To see a list of maps for different countries, start Nokia Ovi Suite and click Open Maps on the right-hand side of the screen.
  • Refine your search by clicking on the continent you’re looking for on the left-had side of the screen.
  • Choose your map and click Download or drag the map onto the device’s image at the bottom of the screen.
  • When you download a map for the first time, information about cities in the continent it belongs to is also downloaded, which may take a while. This only happens the first time you download a map.


Download voice guidance
You can get turn-by-turn directions to your destination by downloading voice guidance using Nokia Ovi Suite. Before you do this, you’ll need to buy a licence. To find and buy the right licence, select Licences on the left-hand side of the screen in Nokia Ovi Suite’s Maps view or visit the Ovi Maps website

Choose your voice guidance in by clicking Voice Guidance Languages on the left-hand side of the screen. Then click Download or drag the voice guidance to your device’s image.
