Back up and restore

Using your Nokia Ovi Suite, you can back up and restore your Nokia devices' contents with the Nokia Content Copier application. On the top navigation bar, select Tools > Content Copier and follow the steps in the Nokia Content Copier window. Back up the entire contents, or select what you want to back up. Backing up regularly helps you to avoid losing important data.

You can restore the contents to the same Nokia device model from which the backup was originally made, or import the contents to another Nokia device model.

To start, click Tools > Content Copier. The Nokia Content Copier application opens.

Nokia Content Copier offers you two options: to back up your device or to restore a backup file onto the device.
