Nokia Music support

There are two types of playlists in Nokia Music:

• Playlists, which you create and edit yourself.
• Automatic playlists, which are managed by Nokia Music: All Purchased, Most Played, Recently Added, Recently Played, and Top Rated.

You can create a new playlist in the My Playlists area or by saving the tracks you have added to the Queue as a playlist.

Create a playlist

To create a new, empty playlist, click . Enter a name for the new playlist.

To add tracks or albums to the playlist you have created:

• Right-click the track or album you want to add to the playlist, and select Add to playlist and the name of the playlist you want to add it to.
• Click to open a list of all your playlists, and drag and drop a track or an album to the new playlist. If you add a track that is located outside Nokia Music to a playlist, the track is automatically added to your PC music collection.

To save the tracks in the Queue as a new playlist, click or select Menu > File > Save player queue, and enter a name for the playlist.

Manage playlists

To change the order of tracks in a playlist, drag and drop a track into a new position in the list. You can only move one track at a time.

To delete a track from the playlist, right-click the track, and select Remove track from list.

To play the playlist, click Play All, or right-click the playlist name and select Play.

To add the playlist to the Queue, right-click the playlist name and select Add to queue.

To add an image to the playlist, right-click the playlist name and select Add artwork.

To import a track from another location on your PC to the playlist, right-click the playlist name and select Add external track, or drag and drop the track to the playlist.

To delete a playlist, right-click the playlist name, and select Delete.

To export the playlist to a location outside of Nokia Music, right-click the playlist name, and select Save as....

To import a playlist to the PC music collection, select Menu > File > Import playlist....

View mobile device playlists

When your mobile device is connected to Nokia Music, you can view playlists on the device in the My collection area. For more information, see Mobile help.
