Download!

You can search for content within selected content categories, and according to certain keywords. The search keywords are either pre-defined or entered by you. The search function is fully supported from Download! version 4.1.x onwards.

To search for content, do the following:

1. Select Options > Search. Alternatively in the Welcome to Download! view select Search.
2. Enter search keywords in the search field.
3. Select the categories to search.
   It is possible to search for content items from a single category or catalogue, from several categories, or from all the categories. By default, when you start the search function for the first time, all the categories are selected.
4. To start the search in the selected categories, select Search.

If the search is launched from within a category or a catalogue, there is no list for a category selection displayed. The search is automatically performed in that specific category or catalogue.

The search results are displayed in a special results view. The results are displayed differently, depending if a single category or several categories have been searched.

If the search is performed from a category or catalogue, the search results are displayed as a flat list; the result items are displayed without any hierarchy.

If the search is performed from the category list, the search results view displays the number of items found in each searched category. To view the actual result items, browse the listed categories.
