Troubleshooting

These instructions assume that you have the Socket Bluetooth software already installed on your PC. For more information on this, please see your Socket Bluetooth card user documentation.

To use your 8910i as a Bluetooth modem:
  1. Insert the socket Bluetooth card into your PC.

  2. Activate the bluetooth connection on your phone ( Menu > Connectivity > Bluetooth > On ).

  3. On your PC, open up the Bluetooth Neighbourhood software. (You can find a shortcut to this on your desktop.)

  4. In Bluetooth Neighbourhood, go to Menu > Bluetooth > Device Discovery.

  5. When the Bluetooth Neighbourhood has found your phone, drag the DUN icon from the left hand side the Window, onto the icon representing your phone.

  6. Accept the connection with your phone.

  7. Now go to the dial up connection you have created, right click it with your mouse and click Connect. Your phone should now start to connect.
