The
instructions below provide information on creating either
a GSM data or GPRS connection in Windows 2000.
Go to My Computer > Control Panel
> Network and Dial-up networking > Make
new connection.
In the first window, choose either Dial-up to
Internet or Dial-up to private network.
In the second window, select a device from the
list (Nokia 8910i Bluetooth or IrDA).
In the third window, enter the phone number of your
Internet service provider. It is easier to uncheck
the box Use dialing rules and then add the
whole number (international code + area code + phone
number) into the Phone number box.
In the fourth window, select whether you want to
create the connection Only for yourself or
For all users.
Depending on which options you choose in step 2,
you may need to go through other steps, such as setting
up mail accounts.
