There are nine subsections in the Settings menu:
  • Alarm clock
The alarm clock uses the time format set for the clock. The alarm clock works even when the phone is switched off.
  • Time settings
You can choose how you want the phone to display the time. You can also set the phone to automatically update the time and date according to the current time zone.
  • Call settings
You can set up options for: Call divert, Speed dialling, Call waiting service, Summary after call, My number sending and Line for outgoing calls.
  • Phone settings
Set up the Language, Cell info display, Welcome note, Network selection, Confirm SIM service actions, Help text activation, Screen saver, Display contrast and Start-up tone.
  • Tone settings
The Nokia 8910 can be set up to alert in many different ways. For example, you can give different ringing tones for different persons.
  • Accessory settings

  • GPRS modem settings
You can connect the phone via IR or Bluetooth to a compatible PC and use the phone as a modem to enable GPRS connectivity from the PC.
  • Security settings
Here you can set PIN code request on or off, restrict incoming and outgoing calls, change the access codes and other settings that affect the security of using your phone.
  • Restore factory settings
Here you can set some or all of the menu settings to their original values.
