Making a Connection to a Browser Service

There are two basic steps involved in making a connection to a browser service: Activate the settings of the service you want to use, and make a connection to the browser service.

  1. Activate the settings of the service that you want to use:
    • Press Menu in standby mode, and select Services, Settings, Connection settings, and Active service settings.
    • Scroll to the set you want to use and press Activate.
If you want to use the same browser service as the previous time, you can skip this step.

  2. Make a connection to the browser service in one of the following ways:
    • Open the homepage of the service: In the Services menu, select Home. Tip: To quickly open the homepage, press and hold in standby mode.
    • Select the bookmark of the service: In the Services menu, select Bookmarks and a bookmark.

If the bookmark does not work with the current service settings, activate another set of service settings and try again.
    • Key in the address of the service: In the Services menu, select Go to address, key in the address (press for special characters), and press OK.
