E-mail Settings
To activate the set of service settings that can be used for
e-mail:
- Menu -> Messages -> E-mail.
- Select Connect via, and either:
- Application Internet to activate the settings
used for the e-mail function, or
- Default to use the same settings as with your
browser. See Setting Up Your Phone for a Browser
Service
To define the appropriate e-mail settings, you can either receive
the e-mail connection settings as an OTA (Over The Air) message
from your e-mail service provider, or you can key them in manually.
To key your connection settings in manually:
- Menu -> Messages -> E-mail
-> Open -> Other Options -> Settings
- Select Mailbox in use, and then the mailbox whose
settings you want to edit
- Select Edit active mailbox, and then define the
settings one by one. Save the settings by pressing Options
-> Save
