2. How many colors does the Nokia 7250i’s color screen support, and what is the size of the display?

The high-resolution color screen supports 4096 colors within 128 x 128 pixels.
  • The high-resolution color display enables more pixels in the display area, which improves picture and text quality
  • A bright display with uniform illumination gives better contrast
  • Adjustable brightness levels enables the user to adjust display brightness
  • Square pixels improve picture quality. With digital pictures, it would be impossible to have rectangular pixels
  • With 4096 colors, the color space is increased significantly, so digital images look considerably better than with 256 colors

7. What are polyphonic (MIDI) ringing tones?

Polyphonic MIDI ringing tones offer users a new, high-quality sound experience. MIDI sounds and traditional ringing tones can be used as personal ringing tones and SMS alert tones. The MIDI sounds support the sounds of 43 instruments, 4 of which can be played simultaneously. New sounds can be received over MMS, downloaded from Club Nokia via WAP, or from the Internet with Nokia PC Suite 5.16.

In addition, the phone supports Scalable Polyphony MIDI (SP-MIDI), which provides the ability to play scalable content and enables exciting polyphonic tones to be introduced to the masses. With SP-MIDI, users can also upgrade their phones without having to buy a new range of content.
