SyncML
Some Standby Mode Indicators

SyncML is the common XML language for synchronizing devices and applications over networks. With the Nokia 7250 you can remotely synchronize your personal data with a compatible network server. The phone book, to-do list and calendar can be synchronized by addressing the server to the phone settings with a user name and password. For example, a calendar entry you make to your mobile device on a business trip is equally available to your secretary in the network calendar as soon as you activate ‘Synchronize’ from the phone menu.

Nokia 7250 supports synchronization with the following PC PIM (Personal Information Manager) applications:

  • Microsoft Outlook Express (Windows Address Book)
  • Microsoft Schedule Plus 7.0/7.5
  • Lotus Notes 4.5/4.6/5.0
  • Lotus Organizer 4.1/5.0/6.0/97/97 GS
