(E)GPRS

The applications that may use (E)GPRS are:
  • MMS
  • chat and SMS messaging (SMS, Short Message Service)
  • browsing sessions
  • e-mail
  • remote SyncML
  • Java™ application downloading
  • the PC dial-up (for example, Internet and e-mail)
Before you can use (E)GPRS technology:
  • Contact your network operator or service provider for availability and subscription to the (E)GPRS service.
  • Save the (E)GPRS settings for each of the applications used over (E)GPRS.
So (E)GPRS is much faster. What else is it good for?

Your Nokia 7200 phone supports three simultaneous (E)GPRS connections. For example, you can browse XHTML pages, receive multimedia messages and have an ongoing PC dial-up connection – all at the same time.
Note
EGPRS (Enhanced GPRS) is similar to GPRS but the connection is faster. For more information on availability of (E)GPRS and data transfer speed, contact your network operator or service provider.
Note
For information on pricing, contact your network operator or service provider.
