Make your handset more secure by setting up the following settings:
Menu -> Settings -> More settings -> Security
settings
PIN code request
Set the handset to ask for your PIM code every time it's switched on.
Some SIM cards do not allow the PIN code request to be turned off.
Call barring service (network service)
Restrict incoming calls to and outgoing
calls from your phone
Fixed dialing
Restrict your outgoing calls to selected
phone numbers if this function is supported by your SIM card
Closed user group
Specify a group of people whom you can call and who can call you
Security level
Set the phone to ask for the security code when a new SIM card is inserted. Select
Memory and the phone will ask for the security code when the SIM card's memory is
selected and you want to change the memory in use.
Access codes
Change the security
code, PIN code, PIN2 code, or barring password
NOTE:
When security features that restrict
calls are in use, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks.
