You need to remove the back cover to insert the SIM card and battery. The battery is placed within the back cover for easy installation.
The SIM card is placed within the SIM card holder.
The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or
bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the
card.
