TCP/IP
TCP/IP is an Internet standard transport protocol that allows efficient data transfer. In IP based packet data networks, the TCP protocol is widely used by many applications. It can set up a connection between a client and a server and provide reliable data transmission within that connection.

For you, TCP/IP offers greater security for sensitive banking and mobile commerce applications, as well as allowing content to be more customized according to your preferences and phone capabilities.

TCP/IP enables faster connections, particularly with larger data file sizes. Because of this, it is an underlying key enabler for new, rich applications such as next generation JAVA MIDP, chat, and richer messaging, such as imaging, video, e-mail, MMS with large file sizes. It also enables a richer mobile browsing and downloading experience.

NOTE

This phone supports WAP 2.0 protocols (HTTP and SSL) that run on TCP/IP protocols.
