Voice commands You can access certain menu functions by saying a voice command. The voice command can be, for example, a function name. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Extras and Voice commands.
In the Voice commands menu, open the folder, for example Profiles, which contains the desired function, for example Silent, scroll to the function, and press Add. Press Start and clearly say the word(s) that you want to record as the voice command. If the function already has a voice command, the indicator is shown beside its name. Note that all the voice commands are deleted if you insert another SIM card into the phone and save new voice commands. Using a voice command Press and hold Names or the voice key in standby mode until you hear a short tone. Say the command clearly while holding the phone in the normal position near to your ear. The phone plays the command and carries out the related function. Note that voice commands cannot be used while the phone is sending or receiving data over a GPRS connection. Countdown timer You can set the phone to alarm after a certain length of time. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Extras and Countdown timer. Key in the amount of time (in hours and minutes) after which the phone will alarm, and press OK. If you wish, write a note that is displayed when the time expires, and press OK to start the countdown timer. Stopwatch There is stopwatch in your Nokia 6650. Use it for timing and for taking split times or lap times, for example, in different sports. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Extras and Stopwatch. Note that using the stopwatch consumes the battery and the phone's operating time will be reduced. |
