Connectivity Desk Stand
With the Connectivity Desk Stand you can connect the phone to a PC by using the connectivity cable DKU-2. The desk stand has a synchronization button, which will activate the data transfer or calendar synchronization between the Nokia 6650 phone and a PC.

The desk stand is connected to the battery charger, making charging more convenient.

When the connectivity cable is not connected to the desk stand, a headset can be connected to the desk stand providing handsfree functionality while the phone is on the stand.

Here are the steps you need:
  1. Install the DKU-2 driver.
  2. Reboot your PC.
  3. Insert the DKU-2 cable to your PC. The PC will detect the DKU-2 when it is connected for the first time. It locates the driver installed earlier and creates a virtual COM port for use by DKU-2.
  4. Use Windows Device Manager to confirm proper installation. Make note of the virtual COM port number assigned to the DKU-2.
  5. Connect your DKU-2 with the DCV-14 and place your phone on the desk stand.
  6. Install the PC Suite -> The PC should automatically detect the phone on the virtual COM port, if not, manually enter the COMx (x is the number you noted in Device Manager).
