Before making a GPRS dial-up connection, please make sure
that the GPRS connection setting for the active service
is not set to Always online. To do this, open the Services
menu on your phone, select Settings, select Edit active
service settings, and then browse to GPRS connection.
If Always online is selected, change the setting to When
needed.
I cannot receive a fax when running the Windows 98
operating system.
To resolve this problem, do the following: In Nokia Modem
Options, change the data call type from ISDN to modem.
Then establish a data call to make sure that the phone
receives the new settings. Now you should be able to receive
a fax.
