Modem Setup installs the following components on your PC:

Nokia 6310i data and fax modem adapters, which enable you to use your phone as a modem in data and fax calls.

Nokia Modem Options software to set options for the data calls you make. Here you find the settings for HSCSD and GPRS.

You can connect the phone via IR, Bluetooth or cable connection to a compatible PC and use the phone as a modem to enable GPRS connectivity from the PC.
