Automatic! The Nokia 6310i chooses the network automatically, however it also features manual network operator selection. Please contact your network operator or service provider to confirm that roaming agreements are in place when you travel.

*EGSM = Extended GSM. The EGSM operating frequency extends 10 MHz lower on the 900 band. If the operator has access to this bandwidth, it can expand the network capacity. The mobile phone must also support the lower bandwidth to make use of the expansion.
