The instructions below provide information on creating either a
GSM data or GPRS connection in Windows ME.
- Go to My Computer > Control Panel > Dial-up networking
> Make new connection.
- In the first window, you need to add the name for the connection
(you can choose freely). Then select a device from the list. (Nokia
6230 cable, Bluetooth or infrared).
- In the third window, enter the phone number of your Internet
Service Provider.
- In the final window, click Finish.
- To change the properties of the connection later, right-click
on the connection and select Properties.
 |
Note:
If you have a problem making a connection, it may help to open
the Properties dialog of the dial-up connection, and
then on the General tab uncheck the box Use area code
and dialing properties. You should then add the whole number
(international code + area code + phone number) into the Phone
number box. |
