   Transferring Music to the Phone

Before you can transfer music to your phone, you must install Nokia PC Suite. More information can be found in the Connectivity section.

  1. Insert an audio CD in the CD-ROM drive of your compatible PC.

  2. Select CD Player from the side toolbar of the Nokia Audio Manager.

  3. If you want to, you can edit the track name by right clicking the tracks and selecting Modify title.

  4. Select the tracks you want to copy. You can select multiple consecutive tracks by holding down the shift key while you are selecting, or multiple non-consecutive tracks by holding down the CTRL key while you are selecting.

  5. When you have selected the tracks you want to copy, press the button Save tracks to the compatible PC.

  6. After the compatible PC has finished copying the tracks, select Music Studio from the side toolbar and press CTRL+F to open the search dialog. Once the box is open, make sure that the selected folder is the location where Nokia Audio Manager stores music files. By default this is C:\My music, but you can check this by opening Options > Preferences and checking the Default Music Folder.

  7. When you are ready, press the Start search button.

  8. Nokia Audio Manager should now show all the music files that it found in its search. Select the ones you wish to copy and press the Transfer to phone button. Make sure that you have the correct folder in your Nokia 6230 selected.
