With the presence service you can share your presence status with other users, for example your family, friends and colleagues. Find out more about Chat and My Presence.
Get settings
To order the settings as an over the air message, contact your network operator or service provider, or browse the Nokia web site. See Over the Air Settings.
Activate settings
To activate the settings, do the following:
- Press Menu and select Settings, Chat and my presence settings and Current chat and presence settings.
- Scroll to the set you would like to activate and press Activate.
Adjust settings manually
To check the settings or to key in the settings manually, do the following:
- Select Edit current chat and presence settings.
- Select each of the settings one by on and key in the required settings.
Before you can use chat and presence services, you need to subscribe to the service. For more information, contact your network operator or service provider, which can also provide you with your unique ID and password and the settings for the service.
