Phone Book Settings
There are two places to save your phone book items in your Nokia 5100 phone: the internal phone book, which uses the phone's own memory, and the SIM phone book, which uses the SIM card's memory.

  • The internal phone book may save up to 300 names with numbers and textual notes for each name. The number of saved names depends on the length of the names, phone numbers and text items.
  • The phone supports SIM cards that can save up to 250 names and phone numbers.
  • indicates that the name and number is saved in the SIM card’s memory.
To select the phone book settings, press Names and select Settings. Select
  • Memory in use to select the phone book you want to use. To recall names and numbers from both phone books, select Phone and SIM. The names and numbers will then be saved in the phone’s memory.
  • Phone book view to select how the names (and numbers) in the phone book are displayed.
  • Memory status to see how many names and phone numbers are currently saved and how many can still be saved in the selected phone book.
