E-mail settings

You must have an access point defined in order to use the e-mail features of your Nokia 3650. Check the Connection settings section to configure an access point for e-mail purposes.

To modify the e-mail settings, go to Messaging and select Options > Settings > E-mail. Open Mailbox in use to select which mailbox you want to use.

Settings for Mailboxes

Select Mailboxes to open a list of mailboxes that have been defined. If no mailboxes have been defined, you will be prompted to do so. A list of settings is shown; you must define the following ones:

Mailbox name - Write a descriptive name for the mailbox.
Access point in use - The Internet Access Point (IAP) used for the mailbox. Choose an IAP from the list. For more information on how to create an IAP, check the section Connection settings.
My mail address - Write the e-mail address given to you by your service provider. The address must contain the @ character. Replies to your messages are sent to this address.
Outgoing mail server - Write the IP address or host name of the computer that sends your e-mail.
Incoming mail server - The IP address or host name of the computer that receives your e-mail.
