| Phone Book
Together! Useful Fun Extras Phone Book A more detailed phone book Saving a contact to the phone's own memory allows you to save more detailed information. You can enter several pieces of information for each name, e.g. e-mail and home addresses. Phone book memory status Memory status > Phone OR SIM card - to see how many names are currently saved and how many can still be saved. Phone book: different views A list of three names at a time? The name displayed with the number? You can choose either of these options from Phone book view. Add a name A quick way of adding a name in standby mode: key in the phone number. Press Options and select Save. Key in the name and press OK. Voice tags Your can save up to 14 voice tags for voice dialing. Be sure to record the tags in a quiet environment, holding the phone close to your ear. Assigning a ringing to a name Names OR Menu > Phone Book > Scroll to the desired name Details > Options > Assign tone Together! Conference call Call to the first participant, press Options and select New call. While you select or key in the number, the first call is put on hold. When the second call is answered, press Options and select Conference. Repeat this to add new participants to the call. No more cross-calling! Chat Chat is like a text message, but quicker and simpler. It is ideal for a quick dialog, e.g. making an appointment or exchanging short opinions - if there is such a thing! To start, go to Menu > Messages > Chat. Share the style Dress up your phone. Make it match with your other gear! A team, a group, a band, a bunch of friends - express that togetherness with shared wallpaper. Useful Fun Java™ applications Java™ applications are intended for downloading over-the-air, typically by WAP, to your phone. Calendar Get organized with the easy-to-use personal calendar in your Nokia 3510i phone. Birthdays, band rehearsals, important calls - the phone's alarm feature will keep you on time. Calendar notes can be sent directly to another phone's calendar or as a text message. Quick way to the WAP homepage Press and hold [icon of key 0] in standby mode. Extras Wallet The Wallet is a digital version of the real thing: it holds personal information and lets you make purchases with your phone. See the detailed information in the User Guide. Stopwatch and countdown timer Haven't got time to think about it? They insist they are faster? Anyway, how long can it take to crack a code? Use the stopwatch and countdown timer - but remember, the stopwatch consumes more power from your phone. |
