Messaging

Predictive text input

To quickly set the predictive text input on or off when writing text, press twice, or press and hold Options. You may also change the dictionary you are using: press Options and select Dictionary. Select a new dictionary from the list.

Changing to number mode

If you want to add a long sequence of digits to your message, press and hold to change to number mode.

Deleting all characters

To delete all the characters at once when writing a message, press Options and select Clear text.

Inserting a word with predictive text input

To insert a word when using the predictive text input, press Options and select Insert word. Write the word using the traditional text input and press Save. The word is also added to the dictionary.

Editing a template text

You can create your own template texts. Select Messages > Text messages > Templates. Open one of the template messages by pressing Select. Press Options and select Edit and As text message. After editing the text, press Options and select Save message.

Picking up a phone number

If you want to copy the sender's phone number from the message, open the message, press Options and select Use detail and Phone Number. Select the phone number and press Options. You can choose to create a new contact card (Save) or to update an existing one (Add to contact).

Extract an image from MMS

You can save an image you received in a multimedia message. Open the message that contains the picture, press Options and select Save image. Name your picture and select a folder where to save the image in the Gallery application.
