Nokia Phone Browser

The Nokia Phone Browser allows you to modify files in the phone memory and transfer files between your phone and a compatible PC.

Connect your phone to the PC. In Windows explorer, go to My Computer > Nokia Phone Browser and Nokia 3100 (or the familiar name that you have given to the folder). Select the phone subfolder you want to view.

Local folders

In Nokia Phone Browser local folders you can store your own files on the PC. These folders are created automatically and are such as My Graphics, My Photos and My Tones. Moving files from these folders to the phone folders moves the files into the phone.

Phone folder

When you connect your phone to the PC, a phone folder is automatically read from phone. Select the phone folder to see information about the phone.

Phone subfolders

Phone subfolders are read from your phone when the phone is connected to the PC. You can copy files from the phone subfolders to the PC folders and vice versa. You can also create new folders in phone subfolders, but cannot rename the folders that exist in the phone.
