Converter
Fahrenheit, meters, pounds, acres, grams get you confused? Don’t worry. The Nokia 2600 phone has a handy tool that converts between different units. You can even set your own conversions for tailor-made information. Select Extras and Converter to start using.
Templates
Do you often need to write a text message with basically the same information, with just different details? Use the handy message templates, such as ‘I’m in a meeting…’. Go to Messages and select Message settings and Templates to view, edit or delete the preset messages that can be used for writing a message.
Countdown timer
With the countdown timer you can set time limits for work and play. Press Menu, select Extras and Countd. tim.. Key in the alarm time and press OK. You can also key in a note for the alarm.
When the timer is running,  is shown in standby mode. When the alarm time is reached, the phone sounds a tone and flashes the related text. Press any key to stop the alarm.
Stopwatch
Press Menu, and select Extras and Stopwatch. Press Start to start timing. To take the time, press Stop. To set the timing to continue in the background, press and hold  twice.
While the time is running,  is flashing in standby mode. But be careful not to let the stopwatch run in the background when using other features. This increases the demand on battery power and reduces the battery life.
Calculator
For simple, everyday calculations, use your Nokia 2600 phone. The Calculator is under the Extras.
- Use then number key to insert a digit.
 inserts a decimal point.
- Press
 once for addition "+", twice for subtraction "-", three times for multiplication "*" and four times for division "/".
- To get the result, press Options and select Equals.
