Tips & hints
In this section we have compiled quick and easy information about some of the little things that make your Nokia 2600 phone such a great companion. Click on the gray navigation bar for different subjects.
But first, some quick shortcuts for your phone:
Quick search for a contact:
Press  in standby mode, key in the first letter of the name. Scroll with  or to find the name that you want.
To activate a profile quickly in standby mode or during a call:
Press the on/off key briefly, scroll to the desired profile, and press OK.
To quickly change the text input method when writing text:
Press  twice.
To redial one of the last ten phone numbers that you have called or attempted to call: press once in standby mode, scroll to the phone number or name that you want, and press Call.
Changing your operator? You need to copy your contacts from one SIM card to another.
It’s simple:
- Copy the contacts from the old SIM card to the phone’s memory: go to Contacts and select Copy and then From SIM card to phone.
- Change the SIM card.
- Copy the contacts from the phone’s memory to the new SIM card: go to Contacts and select Copy and then From phone to SIM card.
