If the name or phone number is saved in the SIM phone book, is shown at the upper right corner of the display. If it is saved in the internal phone book, is shown instead.
  • To copy names and phone numbers all at once or individually from the internal phone book to the SIM phone book, or vice versa:
    Go to Contacts and select Copy.
  • To check how many names and phone numbers are already saved and how many can still be saved in each phone book:
    Go to Contacts and select Settings and Memory status.
  • To select whether the names and phone numbers are saved in phone memory or SIM card memory:
    Go to Contacts and Settings and select Memory in use . Note that when you change the SIM card, SIM card memory is automatically selected.
Your Nokia 2600 phone can take up to 200 phone book entries in the phone memory and up to 250 entries on the SIM card memory.
