My shortcuts

With personal shortcuts you get quick access to often used functions of the phone. To set the desired functions to the left and right selection keys and the navigation key, select Menu > Settings > My shortcuts.

Memory card security

You can protect a memory card with a password to prevent unauthorised access. To set a password, go to Menu > Gallery, select the memory card folder, and select Options > Set password. The password can be up to 8 characters long and is case-sensitive. The password is stored in your device. You do not need to enter it again while you use the memory card on the same device. If you use the memory card on another device, you are asked for the password.

Auto keypad lock

Select Menu > Settings > Phone > Automatic keyguard > On to set the keypad to lock automatically after a preset time delay to prevent unintentional calling, typing etc. When the keypad lock is on, calls may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.
