Make your own movies

Video recording and sharing capabilities are becoming more and more popular. Nokia imaging phones are capable of recording video - from short clips to longer videos - up to an hour, depending on the model. You can even edit clips on your compatible phone with software like Nokia Video Editor, or add a little fun to your videos, creating cross-fades and effects with Movie Director.

If you record your own movies, they're stored as a 3GPP file, with the extension .3gp. You can view these clips on a PC with Nokia Multimedia Player, and you can also play .3gp files with other compatible media players.

Video via MMS

• Take a short video clip and send it via MMS to an MMS-enabled phone or to an email address
• Subscribe to a daily weather, news headlines, or sports highlights service that delivers short video content via MMS
• Build your own library of video clips - several online services offer MMS storage
• Receive an MMS containing a trailer for a new movie opening this weekend. Then entice your friends to come along by forwarding the trailer to them.
