Nokia Intellisync Device Management supports OMA DM compatible devices. OMA DM is an open, interoperable, standards-based approach to device management, developed by the 300-member Open Mobile Alliance.

Nokia business range devices implement OMA protocols enabling remote management, without the need of client software installation on the devices. Moreover, the solution supports the Advanced Device Management, an additional feature first introduced with the Nokia Eseries devices, allowing administrators to manage settings, security and applications with a trust administration model.
